I am seeking help finding information on Andrew O'Neil like a birth record or a christening.  His family was said to be Roman Catholic.  It is believed that he was born in Jersey, Channel Islands abt 1798.  Some other sources indicate he was born 1802, Island of Jersey or Oct 1803, Old Monkland, but there is no hard evidence or documentation of any of this.

Some say that he might of had a sister named Catherine O'Neil.  Baptized 1796 in Jersey.  Her parents are listed as Andrew O'Neil and Mary O'Neil registered at the Garrison on the Island.  This is only a hunch....

He did marry an Agnes Baird (b: 24 Apr 1808) on 7 November 1826 in Old Monkland, I do have records confirming this.

My search is to confirm who his parents really were.............I greatly thank any assistance in this matter
