COMPLETED Northumberland Communities Website
« on: Wednesday 03 August 11 12:58 BST (UK) »
Has anyone got a link to the Northumberland Communities website that works please

(Its the historic website I am looking for with the green background and lots of old maps, pictures etc. All the searches i make return unobtainable pages)

thank you
James Stott c1775-1850. James was born in Yorkshire but where? He was a stonemason and married Elizabeth Archer (nee Nicholson) in 1794 at Ripon. They lived thereafter in Masham. If anyone has any suggestions or leads as to his birthplace I would be interested to know. I have searched for it for years without success. Thank you.

Well, I've been trying since davidft posted on both Firefox and IE and via the link on the Newcastle Council website and get the same response - Timed out on Firefox  or this on IE:

http://Error Code: 408. The operation timed out. The remote server did not respond within the set time allowed. The server might be unavailable at this time. Try again later or contact the server administrator.

It's because you're in Northumberland and we're not - but I'd have thought that Gosforth would have passed  ;D ;D ;D ;D
