Furneux Pelham/Albury Parish Register for Sarah BUTTON

Sarah Button, birthplace Furneux Pelham 1800/1801 - could anyone let me know if her christening is in the FP Parish Register giving her parents?  Her marriage was to George Aylott on 28th April 1823 at Albury - is there any clue to her Parish of birth/parents in the Albury Marriage Parish Register?  Thankyou.

I used to live in Albury and I believe that St. Mary's church still have some of the baptism records at the church.  You could try ringing the vicar as he is very helpful.

Hi Opal,

I searched the Furneux Pelham register 1790-1810 but found no baptism for Sarah.    The marriage entry at Albury merely shows Sarah as 'Of this Parish'  and the witnesses as Susanna BUTTON and Edward EDWARDS, the latter being a Church Official as he signed most of the entries at this time.

Thankyou for the replies.  I shall have a search for Susanna Button and see if there is any joy.  I have been going back to Sarah B. for a few years, eventually I hope to find her.  I do wonder if she was part of the Button family of the villages of Essex bordering Herts. as I have other families that seem to use both Herts. and Essex churches, ie Manuden and Furneux Pelham.
