In his time their official title was 21st Regiment of Foot (Royal North British Fusiliers) or even Fuzileers

Have just found James Boxall's discharge papers on FindMyPast. 1 Batt 21st RNB Fusiliers. Transferred to that regiment in 1864. Discharged in Glasgow 1866.

;D Thanks Ken and Shaun, for finding these out.  I wasn't sure where to look exactly as all his 1907 death docs said was that he was an army pensioner of the Royal Scottish Fusiliers.

I don't have FindMyPast, but my fellow researcher does, so we can have a look at the discharge papers!

Thanks so much for taking the time to help!!  It's really appreciated!!!
