Thanks- yes, our local library brilliant as provides Ancestry, but sometimes information limited to a 3 month period. With local (Norfolk) information I can consult directories/ registers, but with this one I'm struggling in terms of marriage date. I'm hoping that some kind person will manage to supply the precise details. If I can help out this end with any Norfolk data I'd be delighted to help.

I wasn't sure about this before but I've just checked 1871 census and now I am!

I tried to find Helena’s baptism but failed.  However I did find her sisters.

From St. Cuthberts, Blyth

I expected Helena to appear two years later and was very surprised that she didn’t!  She wasn’t in St. Mary’s, Blyth either.

They are all together with Helena on 1871 census RG10-5132-28-1

As Robert was a ship owner on 1871c & Helena was with him & mother Mary & siblings I wasn't sure about the 1861 census this looks to match, so he changed occupations by the time of Alice's birth 1867
