Rose Dorothy GILLICK
« on: Tuesday 09 August 11 05:33 BST (UK) »
I'm trying to trace the death of the above who was born in South Australia and subsequently migrated to USA and became a US citizen. She returned to Australia in 1955 to live permanently but subsequently left on 13 June 1956 on board the "Pioneer Gem" ex Sydney.

Can anyone help with the destination of the Pioneer Gem (presumably the USA) but any information would be helpfull.

Many thanks

Hi westskip

While it is clear you are searching for information on this woman from a different angle in this, your current thread, I thought it may be helpful to the chatters if  a couple of your previous threads about her and her family were linked here in order to save time and duplication..

Unfortunately the National Library digitised news papers are only on-line up to 1954, however there are mentions of the Pioneer Gem as 'an American ship', 1950-54.
