I am trying to find a baptism of Samuel Tanner Franklin c 1805 in the City of London. The only Tanner/ Franklin marriage anywhere is 1778 on which the bride, Jane Franklin, is described as a spinster from the parish of Chigwell in Essex. This baptism, presumably around 1758 doesnt appear to be on IGI and I wonder if there is a baptism recorded in Chigwell. I have not found any children for this couple (Samuel Tanner and Jane nee Franklin) so have not yet managed to make a link with a later generation.
