1911 census Marske by the sea
« on: Sunday 14 August 11 00:01 BST (UK) »
I thought that Marske by the sea came under Guisborough for the 1911 census but can't find it on Ancestry in enumeration districts 01,02, 03,04 or 07. Any ideas please?  :)

Thanks Carole but that's a different Marske, that one is further South towards York area. The one I'm looking for is between Redcar and Saltburn, sometimes known as Marske in Cleveland.

Using the address search on FindMyPast, and selecting the first street for Marske, Guisborough district - Adelaide Street - it comes under district 13.

You can find a list of districts with SD, RD ED for the 1911 census here:
RootsChat Reference Library => 1911 Census districts (click here)

Entering Guisborough gives you RD534
Entering Marske gives you Marske, Marske RD534 SD3 13-14
