Voller - in Surrey

Have George VOLLER born approx 1877 (have about 3 possibles) who married Ada Jane Hobbs (born 1872) in 1903 (Faringdon district)
Think parents are James Voller Dunsfold 1840 who married Eliza (?Rose) 1861
Trying to get confirmation of these dates  and people and of James' parents who I think are William Voller and Charlotte Anthony/Arnell or Short 
Just started research yesterday so haven't found way everything yet so any help/advice gratefully received /or more info required of later generations i.e George's child/wife and his grandchildren I have the info here just ask

Hi and welcome to Rootschat

You need to confirm George's birthplace before working backwards to make certain you have the right parents

Have you checked the 1911 census for him?  Faringdon is in Berkshire and the free 1911 index only has a 60yr old George Voller living in Berks

There is a George Voller b 1877 living in Surrey

Do you have a copy of the 1903 marriage cert showing the name and occupation  of his father

I think you may be wrong - If George was born Dunsford - the 1881 census has a 4yr old George Voller b Dunsford -parents James & Eliza

HI thanks for your reply. I have info from 1911 census
 George VOLLER 1877 ?Dunsfold, Surrey aged 34 at 1911 census
and 1911 census shows Ada I his wife (should be Ada J - for Ada Jane née HObbs)at
Reg district:Hambledon County: Surrey
Also found 1901 census shows George as journeyman Confact…(just looked at the free info you were allowed to see)
The 1881 census seems to confirm this What I can't find is confirmation of maiden name of mum When I have searched free BMD for his birth I have put in Eliza(beth) Rose as mum (as have marriage april/may/june 1903 Faringdon district Vol 2c p599
but it doesn't seem to confirm things
Have possible birth under Dec 1878 Hambledon 2a p129
but only 1877 births are

I know there are seafaring connections so maybe Portsea but all census say Dunsfold so

seem to be the only real possibilities

I will be back on tonight hopefully to reread this but think this is accurate asfar as I undersatnd it at moment and ahve verbal confirmation that Dunsfold is the correct area
