I am having great difficulty in finding any information on my G. Great Father, he was land lord of The Dun Horse in St Ives, Cambs he died in 1925, leaving no will, there was no obituary in the local paper, and I have been unable to find any informatin about him, where would my first lead be?
Thank you

Hi Robin,

You could try the local records office. If he held a licence to sell alcohol it would be recorded there somewhere.

Good luck
