I've been trying to find any of the family in 1891 to give a clue to the marriage & have had any luck so far. Given the births of the children in Crosshands which was in the parish of Llanboidy, there are 2 possible marriages showoing on FreeBmd

John Williams june qtr 1891 Carmarthen vol 11a pg 1448 with Hannah Lewis on the same page
or
John Williams march qtr 1893 Carmarthen vol 11a pg 1148 with Hannah Mary Lewis on the same page

Carmarthen registration district covered Llanboidy

ah, I have Hannah in 1891 - possibly sent off to her grandparents to have her baby.

1891 Ty Canol, Llanddarog, Carms RG2/4514 folio 94 pg 1
Levi James head mar 68 general labourer b. Carms, St Clears
Hannah wife 72 b. St Clears
Hannah Mary Lewis grand dau single 19 servant girl b. Glam, Blaenrhondda
David Lewis ggrandson 1 month b. Llanddarog

So looks like the 1893 marriage & it's given you another generation. Lewis family are in Blaenrhondda, Treherbert in 1881 RG11/5300 folio 8 pg 10.

Possible birth reg for Hannah
Hannah Mary Lewis sept qtr 1873 Pontypridd vol 11a pg 387

:( Hy Osprey   I phoned Carmarthen  register office to check the date you gave me, but unfortunately
they have suspended all searches because of backlog!  I have to phone back on 5th sep      or I  could take the chance and buy the cert.            In the meam time I will try and find out when the rest of children were born.   I know my father-in-law was living in 14  rawlings road Llandybie  when he married in 1924
and I think the rest were in and around carmarthenshire as well.     I think maybe John and Hannah moved to Cefneithen Carmarthen as a few family members have said so.   Apparently their house was named cwmglo.    my father-in-law was  always know as Twm-cwmglo  and his father  John cwmglo. We did a bit of visiting churchyards.        Also spoke to a lady that had keys to chapel in Cefneithen we had a look at graves  and she  remembers a relation of hers was married to a cwmglo Williams also from Cefneithen.   Unfortunately were too far away (Scotland ) to keep visiting. We will need to try and arrange another visit soon. I would like to find death certs for them also. my sister-in-law thinks one of them died 1929-1930. but doesnt know which one!

Have you looked for them in the 1911 census?  Shadrach shouldn't be too hard to find as long as you allow for variants & it would give you the length of the marriage.
