Iam hoping someone can throw some light on my Family for me .
I have the family in the 1851 Census for Bathgate as
Anderson
Alexander H M 44 Slater plasterer Linlithgow Bathgate
Helen W M 41 Embroiderer Linlithgow Bathgate
Janet D U 17 Piri Winder Cotton " "
Thomas S U 15 Coalminer " "
Mary D U 11 Scholar " "
John S U 9 Scholar " "
Helen D U 5 " "
Alexander S U 1m " "
They are not to be found in the 1861 Census as the street apparently was missed.
There was another child born Andrew in 1852 .
I have not been able to trace this family except for the death of Helen in 1868 she was a widow. John was a witness and listed as living in Shotts but i have not been able to locate him.
Alexanders death is also eluding me .I have searched scotlands people as well.Alexander died between 1852 & 1868
Andrew I know about he is my G grandfather I have his marriage ,death & family in Airdrie.
I would really like to find out more about Alexander & Helen.
I know helen was a Ramsay daughter of Thomas Ramsay & Margaret Masterton. She was b 21st April 1807.
Any help tracing this family would be very much appreciated.
