Hi Annie

The date for the marriage for James and Elizabeth was definitely 25 Jan 1798
Ann Wright's chr was 6 Jul 1810 Great Glen, to James and Elizabeth
I have the PR's on disc

Like you I think James may well have married twice because of the big gap between 1798 and Ann's birth in 1810 but I have found no other chilldren prior to her or a death for Elizabeth or another marriage that fits

I do believe that Elizabeth Clifton (James wife) and Sophia Clifton (Abraham's wife)are related somehow but one marriage was in Great Glen, the other in Rugby so the connection needs to be established

I have looked in my copy of Great Glen Parish Register and have found the following;
Children baptized of James & Elizabeth Wright
Ann 6 July 1810
Lucy 3 Oct 1812
Elinger 7 Oct 1814
John 10 Aug 1816
Jane 22 Oct 1820

Also found these burials
Elizabeth Wright 10 Aug 1829 aged 25yrs
Elizabeth Wright 27 June 1830 aged 70yrs
James Wright 20 Oct 1732 aged 69yrs

Also found these marriages on my Leicester & Leicestershire marriages cd
Coleorton 14 Jan 1798 James Wright of this parish & Ann Bunny of this parish marriage by banns
Barwell 20 Feb 1810 James Wright of this parish & Elizabeth Marson of this parish marriage by banns
