Hi,

I'm researching my RHODES line and wonder if anyone is currently linking to any of the following in the Hanley or Shelton areas of N. Staffs,

Daniel RHODES b. 1860
Daniel RHODES b. 1898 (spouse Laura JONES b. 1896)

First of all my apologies for not responding sooner but I've been having trouble with my personal Email,only just receiving the notification for this.

I have a roundabout connection to the Daniel Rhodes(1860).This Daniel had a brother William born c 1870 who is shown as married to an Annie in the 1901 Census with a son Ralph born in c 1897.

Ralph in turn marries an Elizabeth Humphreys at Shelton St Mark in 1920.Ralph and Elizabeth have a son Harry in 1928 who died in 1973!Harry married my Gwilt relative in 1953 at Northwood Holy Trinity Hanley.

Many thanks for your reply to my posting, it has been most useful. It appears that we both have the same Daniel RHODES since mine has a younger brother William RHODES age given as 2yrs in 1871. Their address at the time being 12, Marsh St. Hanley. I'd be most interested in finding out more about your William RHODES line and I'll send you a PM just to share a few more thoughts regarding my findings so far.
