Hi

No Norman births registered in Roxburghshire but there are registrations for the names you mentioned in  Selkirk in 1914 and 1922.

Full details of them can only be obtained by getting the certificates from the GROS (link via Scotlands People) as the births are less than 100 years.

http://www.scotlandspeople.gov.uk/welcome.aspx

I've not mentioned their first names as they could still be alive and it is not recommended to mention names of living people on Rootschat

A little more on Normans in Selkirk. There are 5 birth registrations between 1914 and 1922:

1914 - Elizabeth White Norman - died Durisdeer, Dumfriesshire in 1983 aged 68
1917 - m
1919 - f
1920 - Robert Waugh Norman - died Durisdeer, Dumfriesshire in 1985 aged 64
1922 - f

(Note that they may not all be siblings)

I don't see a marriage for possible parents there at the moment.

I've just found the death of the 1919 female birth (Mary Ann Baillie Norman ) in Selkirk in 1920, aged less than 1 year. Address Oakwood cottages, Selkirk

The death cert has her parents as David Norman, ploughman and Sarah Grierson Norman, maiden surname Waugh.

They married in Lauder, Berwickshire in 1914.

The male, John Norman, b. 1917, died in 1917, Selkirk. Parents as before. The informant ws Robert Waugh, grandfather - assume it was Sarah's father.

So:

1914 - Elizabeth White Norman - died Durisdeer, Dumfriesshire in 1983 aged 68
1917 - John Norman - died Selkirk in 1917 aged under 1
1919 - Mary Ann Baillie Norman - died Selkirk 1920, aged under 1 year
1920 - Robert Waugh Norman - died Durisdeer, Dumfriesshire in 1985 aged 64
1922 - Janet  Norman - died Durisdeer, Dumfriesshire in 1982 aged 60. Other name: Read  (married a Read in Jedburgh, Roxburghshire in 1945)
