Search Engine for US Civil War Servicemen

    Just came across this place while searching for soldiers who I had seen on draft records.

    Yielded plenty info for me. Includes soldiers and sailors who served as Chaplains. Also details service
     ratings. eg began in 1861 as Private, became Sargent by end of war.
