Hi there

On familysearch.org there is this baptism at Tideswell

Samuel Bamford 28 Aug 1791 parents Thomas Bamford & Mary (from familysearch (IGI) Thomas married Mary Robinson 27 Nov 1788 Tideswell, extracted parish record)

There is a sibling (shown as Bomford) also baptised Tideswell Anne 30  Aug 1789

Shirl

freereg.org have transcribed Tidewell marriages and Samuel isn't recorded but Thomas' is

In the transcript I have (http://www.genuki.org.uk/big/eng/DBY/ValNealCDs.html#Tideswell) Samuel's baptism is shown as 28/8/1791, son of Thomas and Mary Bamford of Grindlow. There is no marriage for him either there or in the neighbouring parish of Hope (Grindlow is close to the border of the two parishes)
Too many to list! But always particularly interested in my eight ggp lines : ALLEN, HODGKINSON, FLINT, SWINDELL, SHELDON, BINGHAM, JACKSON - all in Derbyshire; and ELLWOOD in Cambridgeshire

Hi again

Have you got Mary's baptism record showing both parents names? I can see them in Sheffield in 1841 although (not unusal of course) it says parents & 3 children were all born in Yorkshire.
