I am looking for information regarding James MOORE born Peel, IOM 1817 according to the 1851 census. He was living in Liverpool at that time and was a mariner.

Can anyone help me find anything more?

I am still looking for anything regarding James MOORE. Does anyone have him on 1841 census?
Doubt very much that he was married at that time given the age of his wife Sarah.

Had a look at parish locations and it is right next to Peel, i will have a look into this.

I have now got James'  marriage cert to Sarah which shows he was a widow prior to this marriage,
It also shows his fathers name was also James MOORE.
Anybody help at all?

When did he marry Sarah?  Have found a marriage to an Ellen Mills and a child born, Philip on IOM.  Could this be him?

Funny you should mention another marriage as i have just found out he was a widow at the time of his marriage to Sarah,
He married Sarah 1846 Liverpool. I have no idea when he moved there as i have yet to find him anywhere before the 1851 census.

In that case it wouldn't be him marrying in the IOM to Ellen as that date is 26th July 1846.
