Hi again Leanora,
I'll do as you suggest after I get back from holiday. We actually have a wooden block model of the breakwater which we are reconstructing at the moment so the plans would be very helpful indeed. We'll send you a photo of the finished article.

Enjoy your holiday,
KRs

Hello Leonora,

I see our Vice Chair at the Family History of Buchan has been in touch, I don't think he knows you have already supplied the photo's etc. I've had trouble with my computer so couldn't  remember if I'd sent you the photo's of the completed model. Will attend to it.

I down loaded the wedding photo of the Peterhead family, so far haven't found anyone to identify the family, maybe some day somebody will come into the office who can help,   I'll keep trying for you. The quality of the photo makes a big difference, and it doesn't blow up very clearly.

I believe you are now on Facebook if you post it on Peterhead when I was a child, somebody will maybe pick it up for you.   Do you have any photo's of Patsy at the Regal?

Kathleen

leonora. My name is John Milne, and my father James Milne from Peterhead told me that one of my ancestors was a Diver on the Breakwater. I found your photos by accident this morning, and became interested to see two of the Divers were Milnes. My Grandfather was also James Milne, and he was actually brought up in Glasgow, but was working in Peterhead prior to the war. He was an Engineer, Machine Operator. He Married Margaret Winter Summers, and they stayed in North Street. My Mother is Janet McLean Buchan, and her father Donald M (Danny) Buchan came from Hope Street. My parents are both 80 now, but we have not lived in the Town since 1967, as we moved to the west Coast then to Ayr. I currently live in Brazil, so dont get back home very often.

By any chance did you come across any photographs of Robert Henderson Low, a stonemason and supposedly a supervisor during construction.  Many thanks for the most interesting topic.
