Griffith PARRY sentenced Montgomery

I have a relative Griffith PARRY born London 1799. A cousin visiting London has forwarded me a copy of a page from the Montgomery County January Session 1819 court records, showing a Griffith PARRY sentenced to two months jail.

I do not think this person is my Griffith Parry, as both the forename and surname are common in Wales and also I have found two other Griffith Parrys born in Wales at the right time to fit the circumstances.  In addition, the distance separation of Montgomery and London makes the case unlikely.

I would like to find more information on the Montgomery case if possible, so that I can totally rule out the case in Wales, is this possible?

I am also intrigued by the lenient sentence of two months for larceny.  Have other people come seen this before?
