Yes South rd is still there in Wimbledon, I came from Wimledon,
South Rd is between wandle bank and Byegrove rd, run's along the back of Wandle park,
It has changed a lot in the last 10yrs.

I'd 'walk' it first on Google maps (Merton SW19). If it was this road then it looks mostly modern flats.

It has all  now Been rebuilt the old leather factory is now all House's and flats, I would do as valda
has surgested.
Plus alot has canged over the last 30yrs,
