Hi Mike
Are you sure they are buried in St Marys Church Whitchurch? :-\
The book od Monumental Inscriptions  gives no Albert or Violet Evans. Dare I ask you did you go to the actual funeral?
Did your parents live in Whitchurch and attend the Church? Sorry to ask these sorts of questions :-\
cheers cardiff

dont know the actual cemetery, whitchurch was based on a guess as I,d heard the name somewhere, as the funerals were organised by  a relative, (long gone) all I remember is travelling from where ship was docked and then back to sea. sorry to be so vague, looks like I,ll have to troll around a bit. thanks anyway.

Hi M
My suggestion is to get death certificate to confirm where thet where living?  Unless you know where they were living? ??? That would give some idea of the cemeteries, they could also have been cremated.
I see violets death4th qtr 1966 vol8b page 182 cardiff
Did Albert move to be with other family has he is I believe  under east Glamorgan which I believe is pOntypridd way?
cheers cardiff

they both were living on the newport road in a group of bungalows  occupied by ex seaman , the name of the shipping company that provided these bungalows was a Cardiff firm, sir, something or other. sorry I,m a bit vague on these things, I know dad was born at 21 railway street in 1901. thanks.

Hello  :)

That would probably be Sir William Henry Seager

As you have the dates of deaths, you could try Cardiff library to check for obituaries in local newspapers.

Modified - Cathays Cemetery is not far from Newport Road.

Kind Regards
Morgan
