Alderman Notebooks (1830s) - Thomas Beards Diary
« on: Thursday 01 September 11 19:43 BST (UK) »
For those whom are interested in this, you will be aware that the original Diary is no longer available to view at Shropshire Archives. However, Ironbridge Museum has a transcript taken by Barrie Trinder...
So I ordered a copy the other day and voila, ... for your interest:

(Ive scanned it in as a PDF and the size limit for files on the forum is only 500kb...the file is 8MB! I have uploaded it to my partner's file synchronisation system online. Please find it here (promise its safe!!)):

EDIT Just noticed I scanned it in upside down, so you might have to save the pdf file, then 'View' and 'Rotate Clockwise'!

Great read if nothing more!!

Penny

Not a problem Peter, I was thankful to stumble across it myself!

A distant relative had done some research on the my Cullis' family and referenced it in his documents, it was only luck that I stumbled upon it! Glad to share it, as knew so many people were hoping to view the original!

Although the Cullis mentions in this document are not particularly proud ones, haha
