I'm doing some digging on the Sperrink family tree for my Dad and wondered if you had any information that I may be able to use on tracing my ancestry.
I believe that similar to you the traceable lines point back to Burford but I can only confirm as far back as my great grandfather Charles E Sperrink (b. 1895) who was born in Mansfield but from the BDM info I can find it appears that Emmanuel Sperrink and his sons Edwin Thomas and Robert seem to be the key to when the name moved North.
I've only just started out so feel free to correct me and any help would be greatly appreciated.
