Hi Allen - let me know if you get some more answers to the Bunn family - the name 'James' appears very frequently to confuse us  :)
Best wishes to you all....

Hi Salome,

Just wondering about the Little Walters you mentioned as a birthplace, could that be Little Waltham?

Perhaps there's another James Bunn waiting to be found  ;D

Regards.
Concentrating currently on:
Essex: Card, Harris, Stowell, Theobald/Tibbles & Turner.
Norfolk: Beale, Cork & Dalton.
Yorkshire: Oswald Sturdy birth/baptism c1708, Oswald where the devil are you?

Thanks, Findem - Yes, I think you are right re the Little Walters being Little Waltham. Sometimes its like wandering about in the dark when looking for ancestors especially when they keep the same first name in families :)

Thank you Suffok Sue & Ros. My apologies for delay but have just found your replies so must have missed an alert. Well James and Jane, I had that James with Mary Ann Bird !!. Delay was part because I am travelling but have just arrived in Danbury !!!!!!. Will be here for 2 months so hopefully will unearth some more James data. I have James and Jane having a child George b.1844 and dying in 1847. I dont have James/Jane's marriage, does anyone have that ?. Thanks, Allen

Thanks Salome and Baggygenes. Yes, Jane Auger looks likely. I will add it to my list for next visit to ERO in Chelm. This James Bunn who appeared in Orange County, Texas (where Joseph, born 1820 Purleigh had migrated to) was born 21.12.1842 in "England" and arrived New York in 1873. A descendant (maternal line) is the 3rd to cary the first names "James Bunn". Allen.
