Ucd hold the Midwifery records but permission must be sought and granted from the Midwifery board in Blackrock first. They sure don't make it easy! Here is the protocol:

The library is an in-house library facility for An Bord Altranais staff. However we operate a limited access policy (see below).
Library office hours are from 10am to 1pm & 2pm to 5pm - Monday to Friday.

LIBRARY ACCESS POLICY
Registered Nurses & Midwives
The Library operates a limited access policy and nurses/midwives who wish to use the library must have a letter of introduction from the library of your institution of higher education stating the reason access is required. The nature of the query must be research based.
Student Nurses & Midwives
If you are a student nurse/midwife and wish to use the collection, a letter of introduction must be provided from the library of your institution of higher education stating the reason access is required.
Members of the Public
If you are not a registered nurse/midwife and wish to use the collection, a letter of introduction must be provided from the library of your institution of higher education stating the reason access is required.
