Whose grandmother?

MYRA was Lucy's sister.

Agh ....

NSW ER 1903  MACQUARIE, polling at Rockley

NONE with surname MARTIN, it was not compulsory to enrol,  there were 274 enrolled for Rockley.  I will try nearby polling places, looking for William and Mary J MARTIN.

EDIT TO ADD,  not finding them in the Macquarie Electorate in 1903.

Cheers,  JM

I wonder if the birth for Vera O MARTIN in 1906 registered at Rockley with parents given names of William J and Mary J would be another sister for Lucy/ie and Myra?  #17800

As mentioned earlier, a copy or transcript of Clarence Albert WOOD's d.c.  seems to me to be the sensible option,  it should list Lucy and Clarence's sons as per the IM, and also give di47 further information to advance her quest, as it should also confirm Clarence's parents.   A transcript would be quicker and cheaper and contain the same information as the "real deal".

PS, see reply #9 for the d o d, the ref number and the probate packet index

MMmmm....

I can't quite spot LUCY's birth. ::)

Maybe firstborn and maybe another state/country.

As di47's main interest is the parentage of VICTOR, I agree,JM, CLARENCE's DC  would be the most useful of certificates to get.

Not a huge outlay when one considers the amount of information it will contain :D

Many thanks for all the hard work, I have done as you have suggested and requested a transcript of Clarence Woods death certificate.

Thank again
