All Saints Church, Wytham - List of graves and plot nos available.
« on: Thursday 08 September 11 12:10 BST (UK) »
Hi all
On the wall inside All Saints Church is a plan with numbered plots of 249 graves. Next to the plan is a list of most of the occupants of those graves. The plan and list are dated 1892. Sadly no dates of burials though on the plan or list.

I have copied the list and I am down loading from my camera photos of the plan.
If anyone has an interest in who may be buried where, at the church, let me know and I will be pleased to see if they are on the list.

I shall post this on Oxon as well because Wytham is now in that county since 1974.

Regards
Robinson - Oxfordshire
Stratford - Gloucestershire,
Waters - Northamptonshire,
Moss - Oxfordshire,
Bint - Berkshire,
Collins / Collings - Buckinghamshire,
Salmon - Warwickshire and Northamptonshire
Stranks - Northamptonshire,
Bull - Oxfordshire /Buckinghamshire,

Hi there,

I'm looking for the grave of JOSEPH BARRETT. Are you able to check if this grave is on your list:

Buried at Wytham with wife Susannah: headstone.

He died 18 Jan,1845
'32 years gamekeeper to the Earl of Abingdon'

daughter Sarah WYATT died 1848.
Son Joseph born 1808,
William born 1811.

Would really appreciate it if you could let me know!

Sally

Thank you Capetown! He is my direct ancestor, and apparently either he or his son William is the "Barrett" featured in "The Eynsham Poaching Song".
