COMPLETED Queensland Transcripts
« on: Saturday 10 September 11 09:28 BST (UK) »
Can anyone help with my query.

Have been searching for Queensland Transcripts but there doesn't seem to be any. I can apply for a death certificate costing $35 - $45. I have bought a NSW Transcript at $18 which gives all the relevent information.

Trying to establish a birth place. On the Queensland BMD site, it gives me his death, but no parents recorded. Also, there are no records for his marriage ???.

Hi

Unfortunately there are no provisions for Transcriptions here in QLD.  We have to pay the price for the information we need....  :'( :'(

Do you know where he was buried... there might be something on his headstone if there is one??

Cheers

I appreciate we have to pay for the information we need :'(

Not sure what info it would give me, though. There is no record of his parents. That's why I would rather pay for a transcript. I now know there are no provisions for Transcripts.

Have a photograph of his headstone, he is buried with his daughter, no other details, sadly. Just a pity a live so far away.

Thank you.

Not sure why the thread is showing as completed, but the RChat board for Queensland resources gives a link to showing what information is to be found on Qld BDM certs

My initial question was to find out whether there were Queensland Transcripts.

Karenlee said there are no provisions for Transcriptions here in QLD.
