Just launched today from Aberdeen City Libraries Local Studies department.
http://www.silvercityvault.org.uk/  offers online access to a range of their collections. Well worth a browse.

Elaine, I have been going through the general photographs of Aberdeen, and being an early 1950's child, I can remember quite a few locations as they were.
Thanks for the link. I will probably spend quite some time going through it all.
Best regards

Malky.

Hi Elaine,

Thanks for that. Found out a bit more about an ancestor thanks to it  :)

Mods should move it up to a locked position at the top of the board, or add it to resources.

Cheers,

Hi Mitchell,

Many thanks for finding that site. I lived in Aberdeen for 59 years and I now live in Portugal. It will help when I get homesick. :)

Best wishes,

Dave
