Look UP -Ansford parish marrige records

 Looking for GGG grand parents marriage info-
Does anyone have access to Ansford  marriage records
I have Robert Wright =m= Mary Ann Akins 27th August 1825 looking for parents of both?
On 1851 gives Mary Ann's birth as Castle carey, and Roberts as Mudford
Roberts mother Mary is still alive but a widow so unable to go back any further, has Roberts mother Mary was born 1779 Sherborne Dorset, so I have no idea if she moved to Somerset met Roberts father or he went to Dorset,
I have found their childrens  chrisenings in Ansford so don not need them

Other than a look-up of the Marriage which is unlikely to have Parents names, I am not sure what else you are looking for?

When you refer to Childrens Christenings do you mean you have the Children of Robert/Mary Ann ?
So you havent got Robert and Brother James Christenings to find their Fathers name?

Mary c 1779 is with her Son James (born c1818, Ansford) in the 1851 Census as you say. James Marriage Cert will have his Fathers name/occp. You can then look for the Marriage to a Mary.

 Thanks for your reply.
Yes I really want Robert and James's fathers name  and their mother's maiden name. So a christening for both brothers would be good and hopfully show mothers maiden name
I have James and Robert on the census and I see on the 1851 Mary is with son  James.
 Having said that I could get James  marriage certificate that would confirm his fathers name and occupation although I suspect he was an ag lab  living in that area.
Here is the marriage James Wright=m= Poss Sarah Bailey 2nd qtr 1847 or Sarah an Totterdell 4th qtr 1849
Although they did have a daughter Ellen aged 5yrs b <1846> as shown on 1851 census

FreeREG has these Baptised Ansford to a WILLIAM/MARY Wright;
SILAS 19 May 1811
JANE 25 December 1813
SUSANNA 12 November 1815
Girls have extra info, Abode as Almsford, Father a Labourer

BURIALS;
WILLIAM Wright, 11 March 1834, Age 54 (c 1780), Abode Wyke Champflower
MARY Wright, 07 April 1854, Age 77 (c 1777), Abode Ansford

MARRIAGES;
William WRIGHT, Bachelor of Ansford
Mary ADAMS, Spinster
16 Oct 1803, St Mary, Yarlington, Somerset

Just supposition at this stage.
I cant find James/Roberts Christening.

Hopefully someone else may come up with something for you re these and the Marriage.
