Ford Cemetary Plots
« on: Monday 12 September 11 17:17 BST (UK) »
Hello Again

I've recently found my grt grandparents Plot numbers via ancestry at Ford Cemetary, Liverpool.

Joseph Hodson plot H281 burial 5th Apr 1900
Sarah Hodson plot H256 burial 16th Nov 1895

Can anyone advise how I would find out whether it's a public grave or private. As if it's a private grave there's a chance I guess there is a headstone and if so would like to visit. But if its a section with little headstones in the burial ground I no doubt find it difficult to track down the actual burial spot.

Many Thanks

Olie

Hi,

This will show you where the graves are located in Section H.  It looks possible that there is a headstone for Joseph.

Click on Section H and then Maps and Plans and you will see a layout of the graves.

Thanks Mo

I've managed to get in contact with someone on the Internet by googling the information who has informed me their private and have other internments so theirs a little more chance their may be gravestones.
