Researching Lamb family - now back to John Lamb b 1807 (baptised in St Michael's, Cockerham) mother Isabella and father William.  John had Sibling Thomas b 1808 who married Sarah Appleton.  Any info on William or Isabella would be great.

Just started to research the Lamb family and I believe that the John Lamb in question is also a relative (GGGGFather)

It would seem that there were a lot of Lamb's in the Cockerham area.

I have a William Lamb born c1866 (Great Great Grandfather) who is the key to getting further back with a degree of certainty but I am awaiting his marriage certificate to be able to link to his Father, but so far it is possible that Richard Lamb looks the likely candidate.  Tracing back from Richard gets to a John Lamb

Can you give me an update on your research
