His wife was EMMA

He could be living in West Ham, Essex

Would like to find any children.

I will have to try an earlier census, they might have had some when they were very young.

Hello Inchworm:
I have a gg grandfather who was William Rowe.  In fact I just found this out yesterday.  His daughter was Elizabeth, born in 1848 in Bethnal Green.  I have yet to find any siblings for her.  In the 1881 census she has a daughter named Emma.  Could be after her mother!  Perhaps someone could look up an 1861 census for a William with a daughter named Elizabeth and wife Emma.

I am sorry but my William Rowe is not yours.
Mine was b.1831 Tottenham and m. 1866 Tottenham.
So far I haven't found any children for them.
