So many names in there (there's an index at the end of the document) and facinating reading.

Sad to read of so many young children (and older persons) being burnt by their clothes catching fire  :'(

And the sorry but intriguing tale of the 95 year old man who in the space of one month in 1825:  married a 57 year old, tried to kill himself after the marriage went quickly sour and shortly after that, died when his wife pushed him down the stairs.....

In that era, and later people wore looser garments in bed, and also crucially often had fires in their bedrooms. Imagine the situation bedclothes and an open fire in a confined space. The wonder to me is there weren't more p[eopple lost in this way. Thanks for link, potentially very useful.
