Richard Mathew Narracott was my ggg grandfather. His eldest daughter was Hannah Mary and she married Robert Rippon in 1867.Robert was a schoolmaster in Cheshire and Hannah Mary was a milliner.Their third child was Arthur Narracott Rippon and he is my direct descendant and there's quite a story here. When Richard died in 1889 Robert Rippon was the executor of his estate.Richard was the owner of the Narracott Hotel in Lime Street in Liverpool and I know the area very well.It was number 48a Lime St,there is a pub on the site called The Crown but I don't think it's the original hotel.I'll be visiting some friends near there in the next few weeks and I will verify that. There is a film made by the Lumiere brothers of Liverpool in 1896,if the cameraman was to turn the camera around 180 degrees he would have been pointing it straight at the Narracott Hotel!! If you need any more info feel free to contact me.

Dear Kellogs,
Is the photograph of 'Nana and Grandma' related to the Narrcotts?

Hi Wayne

Sorry its taken so long to get back to you. My husband would be very grateful for any information you have regarding the Narracotts. We have yet to do too much research into this branch of the family tree. He only knows snippits of information that we have found in census records, and vague memories his grandfather has. Richard Narracott is my husbands gggg grandfather. He is decended from Susannah Reed Narracott.

The photograph is of my side of the family and not my husbands

Best wishes
