Hi There,

Does anyone recognise this Studio, could it possibly be in South Africa? and is the gentleman wearing a Salvation Army uniform, any help would be appreciated i believe the date on the back is 1924/1926

Yes that is my post, i was asked to post on this site also in the hope one of the Photographic boffins would recognise the Studio from a previous photo.

Is the number on the back a date or is it a ref.no?
This woman's dress style is mid WW1-1920 style & I can't see a young woman wearing this in 1924 although nothing's impossible.

Hi Jim,
Thanks for the reply, it is definitely a date as it was addressed to my Grandfather, it said to Charles and a date of 1924, no other details on the back.
