Hi Mike well I managed to visit Elie Cemetery today
And sorry to say that there is no headstone for Thomas Buist
And Lillias McLelland. Checked out all the West Area of the cemetery
Have you considered looking for a will or did Lillias leave one.
You said My Buist family owned large estates in Forgan Parish and Abdie Parish. Some of them are still standing. I would like to know if you would be interested in doing an old Scotsman a great favor and might be interested in taking a few photographs of Kirktonbarns which is now a B & B in Forgan Parish.
I know where Kirktonbarns is but where are the estates in Forgan and Abdie Parishs and what Buists lived in them. I see Thomas had a number of brothers & sisters, who are you descended from?
And his parents being William Buist & Janet Barclay
Who was Williams parents?
