Who is he?

Hello, i am looking for information on Bert withers unfortunately i do not have much information except for his father is alfred George Withers was born on the 3rd June 1866 at Waltham Abbey. His mother was Louisa Lucy/Lizzie Watkins unfortunately i do not know much about louisa exept for she died on 13th March 1908 aged 41 from Influenza.

Bert had several siblings:
Ernest Charles, George Alfred, Florence Mary, William Edward, Ethel Maude Leslie Oliver, Douglas Arthur, and Daisy May Margaret, Winnifred Preturia, Bert and Ivy Carrie and also Ron.

I have come across a wonderfull portrait and i am looking at each indivudual member so any help or information would be gratefully recieved.

Before we start looking, you may like to do some research yourself - always more fun to find info yourself than have it handed to you on a plate!

1881 census is free to search - have you found the family there?
Have you found his parents marriage on FreeBMD?

Given the match of kids names in 1901, it looks like your best bet is to find them in 1911 (Bert seems to have been born post-1901)

Thanks for the reply! I have spent a lot of time looking but unfortunately can't find anything on this young man and that is why i have come on here to ask for help. I have got quite a bit on the rest of information on the rest of the family have just got stuck on Bert and his brother Ron. I do not wish to have it handed on a plate but i thought the whole point of this website is to share information and also to be guided in the right direction.

Try looking in FreeBMD for Herbert Henry W (1902 I thinbk it was) and then see if he's linked to Alfred George W in the 1911 census.

I believe from manipulating the Free Index on GR, that he's called Bertie, and is in the Billericay District.
