Hi,

I have  relatives in this district, they are:

Richard Hughes B 1776 married Elizabeth? also B 1776 same parish. Daughter Mary Ann Hughes B 1816 Married George Owens 1848 Mold Flintshire.

Can you tell me the surname of Elizabeth,and any siblings. also did Mary Anne have any siblings.

In the 1841 Census they lived at Tyn-Y-Fawnog Llanfair Ardudwy.

Any help on my family would be great.

Mary Ann Partner George Owens was my 2nd Great grandfather.

There is a match on IGI but no middle name, although Mary has no middle name on the 1841 and 1851 censuses.

Thanks for the reply David, do you know if Elizabeth Jones had a brother or relative called Edward Jones, as i am trying to trace the witnesses to her marriage to George, trying to paint a picture of their life. Elizabeth was also born in the area so i am hoping that her siblings are listed also.
Did Elizabeth and Richard get married at this church also?, and are their parents names listed?

Unfortunately, I can't find any of the marriages.

You can buy copies of the baptisms on http://www.bmdregisters.co.uk/

Sometimes, more information can be found but often just the parents names.

If you have trouble finding them, please let me know.
