Thanks for the link Merlin. I did a lot of research on the Yarra River basin a few years ago. I knew exactly where the River Plenty area was. One of hubbys ancestors drowned in the area.   The inquest said accident but I think suicide.

I have just gone back and found that Margeret and Mary arrived on the same ship the Marquis of Bute November 1941.
