And here's a little puzzler based on the (presumably mistranscribed) place of birth for Arthur William's wife Evelyn:  "Lorrin Chinbuck", Ohio, U.S.A.
Any ideas, anyone...?

I vote "Cleveland" for the second word (not based on the transcription!).  Still thinking about the first :)

avm228.
Are we any closer to that placename in Ohio?  If I had 30 credits left on my Findmypast account I'd look up the original page of the Census, but infuriatingly I only have 20 left.
I'll have a think about it...
regards, keith
N.B. I find Lorian Sorian almost as perplexing as Lorrin Chinbuck...

Right, I'll take that as said, then, avm228!
So glad to have a bit of extremely local history to delve into a bit more now - apart from the Ohio thing...
very best wishes, keith
