William DAVID may have been the one of the name who died in April 1922 and was an Engine Driver of Sebastapol.

If you have the time to spare, you may be successful in downloading his will or such documents some of which appear to be digitised.

I find the lengthy wait very tedious.

I believe EDWARD DEAN is buried at BALLARAT New Cemetery.

DEAN, Edward. Publican. Died 8/4/1902. Aged 50.
New Cemetery C of E A-6 .44

With him

BULLEN. Phillippa, Housemaid Died 28/1/1873 Aged 25.

Phillipa Bullen is interesting....she is Edward Dean SIL.

I have her death at 28 Feb 1873...she is buried with her parents at Mt Prospect Cemetery..I have the gravestone photo.!!!

Why would she be with Edward Dean?

Just before you complete your thread, it may be worthwhile just clarifying .....

The Register of the Ballarat Cemetery shows what I have listed above in regard to the burial of PHILLIPPA BULLEN.

The Register of the Ballarat Cemetery also  shows what I have listed above in regard to the burial of EDWARD DEAN.

There is no Monumental Inscription for either listed at the Cemetery.

There is a small addition  to the location notes burial of EDWARD which reads -Bullen Family Grave-.

It is not at all unusual for a Monument to be erected in  a Cemetery naming and including family members who are not in fact interred at the position  or same place of the monument.

There is no doubt in my mind that I have located the right man and his sister-in-law .

Hi Sue

I have this...sorry death is 27 Jan ..my oversight..the Mt Prospect grave was unmarked..Carol J cleaned it up and re photograhed it in March this year for me...her website is now updated..see attached.

I will take your point re possible buried at Ballarat rather than Mty Prospect.

I have also emailed the Bullen rellie and I will see what he can find out some more as he is closer than I am in QLD
