Exactly Carol, After a spat with my sister in law who wanted Mum's ashes scattered in her own garden which I vetoed as inappropriate on the grounds they wouldn't always live there causing access problems they were scattered on top of my dad's even though they died more than 30 years apart. Apparently crematoria keep records of the precise location of all ashes making this type of disposal easier to perform.
