Lookup Margaret Lyall WISHART

This is my first post--so please bear with me.  I would appreciated any help in finding out the mother's maiden name for Margaret Lyall Wishart.  Margaret Lyall Wishart was born on 28 May 1889 in Montrose, Angus, Scotland.  Her father's name was William Wishart.  Her mother's first name was Mary.  Any help or getting pointed in the right direction would be appreciated.  Thank you.

HI GeoKev, have you tried looking for Margaret's birth, marriage or death certificates?  These should, in theory,  give her mother's name.

ScotlandsPeoplel have bmds online.  There is a payment for searching, but can be well worth the cost.
