Can anyone help, i am trying to find William Walker father & Mother

can't find him or the family on  the Census 1841, 1851, 1861

born: Bedford, Nottinghamshire, England, born abt 1832

1881 shows his birthplace as Radford Notts

Just looking again at that 1881 entry and think it is a different family.

The 1871 details you gave above show Maria b 1836 Gateford Notts but the family are living in Sheffield

In 1881 - there is a William Walker b 1831 Notts with a wife Maria b 1831 Woolwich Kent

Children are different but if there are 2 marriages to a Maria - you are going to have to ensure you know Maria's maiden name first to pick the right marriage

I don't tink there is a place named Bedford Notts

I think his p.o.b. has been mistranscribed in 1871/1861 -on both census the image reads (to me) Retford Notts
