http://www.ancestralatlas.com/ancestral-atlas-genealogy-mapping-network.phpI've not thoroughly investigated it but have searched a couple of places. The results depend on people having uploaded their gedcoms to the site in order to show people and events in various places.
For example, I chose Taunton, Massachusetts, United States, for my search. A map of the area appears with little balloons. Clicking on the balloons shows you the results for that location. I found several allied families and information on various folks. Results are BMDs.
Hopefully, the UK and other places are well represented.
