John Morgan Price & Sarah Ann Thomas

Hi,

I am looking for marriage information for my Great Grandparents John Morgan Price b1879 & Sarah Ann Thomas b1885.

I know that they lived in Bedlinog and have them on the 1901 Sensus living in Aberdare.

Any information would be gratefully received.

Do you mean the 1911 census as Sarah would only have been 16 in 1901

On freebmd - There is a marriage in 1906 in Merthyr Tydfil and another in 1898 when Sarah would only have been 13yrs old.  In both cases there is no middle name shown for John

I believe that the 1898 marriage is the correct one.

I had not noticed the anomally in Sarah's age in the 1901 census, looking at it again I have got the wrong family. I have now found the correct family on the 1911 census living at 34 Oakland Street, Bedliniog.

John Morgan Price age 31 b Staytittle, Montgomeryshire (Labourer Below Ground)
Sarah Ann Price age 24 b Mountain Ash
Annie Mary Price age 1 b Bedlinog
Baby Price age under 1 b Bedlinog

This would suggest that the 1906 marriage is the correct one.

1911 census will show how many years they have been married and confirm the correct year
