Can anybody tell me where 372 King Street, Aberdeen is...what landmarks it is near? Is it opposite the bus garage?

Many thanks,

Looks as though it is near First Bus as the initial image shows on Google street view.  What time period were you looking for?

It was one of the tenements which sat between Erroll Street and Seaforth Road, the whole row being demolished when I was a child at King Street Primary school in the late '50's early 60's.

I have a copy of the 1957-58 Aberdeen Post Office Directory and the only listing for 372 King Street is Alex. Urquhart, spirit merchant.

Graham.

I was looking for the early 20th century and late 19th century. My great grandfather died in 1905 at that address.

Best wishes,

Dave

Hi Malky,

I have had a look at it on Street View and I see that 356 is still there, so presumably it was on the site of that car showroom that itself has moved on. Just my luck that it was demolished.

Best wishes,

Dave
