Seeking Walter William Weymouth
« on: Tuesday 01 November 11 09:20 GMT (UK) »

Born in England in 1917 and went to Durban in 1919 with his father Henry John and mother Lena and died around 1980. Long lost brother of my late mother. Any links?

Thanks for that Harry - I have located his grave marker from that. He is in Stellawood Cemetery. I was hoping perhaps to get a contact at the cemetery whereby I might be able to verify his wife's or childrens' names.

Hi Terry

I am not sure if you are looking for the same person, I dont have all the family history but my grandfathers name was Walter William Weymouth. I know he had a sister by the name of Hayler (not sure of the spelling).
He died when I was young so dont know to much about him.

Hi Ryan,

So good to hear from you - I think your grandad is my Mum's brother. She was called Winifred Lena Mahala but was always known as Hala. She never saw Walter again after their mother died and she left S A in 1927. I would love to share much more detail with you. Could we swap emails.
